About Imprinted Arts.
Imprinted Arts was born out of a passion for art and a desire to share it with the world. I am a self taught artist, inspired by my love of dogs (that's me and my buddy, Milo), and I hope to share that love with my doggy portrait commissions. I love drawing and painting, mainly dogs, landscapes and beachscapes. My goal is to offer a diverse selection of unique and original pieces (watch this space for some exciting new projects!), all produced to the highest standards using quality products. It is an opportunity to open my heart and connect with you via paper, pencils, pastels, paint and stained glass and to share the joy I experience whilst creating. Join me in my mission to share creativity, beauty, inspiration, and joy through the power of art.
How Do I Commission a Portrait?
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.......

What do you need from me?
I need the best quality photographs of your pet, from all angles if possible and for you to let me know which is your favourite pose or angle. You can never send me too many photos! I like to see your pet from all angles and in as many poses as possible so that I can assess how the fur lies, identify any distinguishing marks and also get an idea of your pet's personality. We can communicate via email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or text, or if you are allergic to technology we can use snail mail and the telephone!

Can I use my phone to take photos for my pet portrait?
Yes, if your phone camera is less than 20 years old! Technology has moved on so much now that most smart phones can take fabulous shots, although having said that, my stepdad recently commissioned me to do a portrait taken on a 'vintage' Nokia that I think once belonged to me in the 90's! I rose to the challenge and used watercolours to create tones and shadows in a more 'painterly' way, so that's an example of what can be done using the appropriate medium (i.e. pastels, watercolours, coloured pencils etc). The same tips apply to getting a good photo as with any camera. The beauty of digital is we can take as many as we want!
